We are reaching out with heavy but hopeful hearts to share that our beloved Leah was recently diagnosed with Stage 2 Thyroid Cancer. This news has been life-altering, but Leah’s courage and determination to face this challenge head-on inspires us every day. We’ve set up this campaign to help ease the financial burden of her upcoming treatments, and we’re deeply grateful for the overwhelming love and support you’ve already shown.

A few months ago, I noticed a lump on Leah's neck from a selfie she sent me after her haircut. After visits to her primary care doctor and an ENT specialist, tests confirmed a mass in her right thyroid lobe. She underwent surgery last week to remove it, only to learn the mass was cancerous. In the coming weeks, Leah faces another surgery to remove the rest of her thyroid, followed by two weeks of isolated radiation and lifelong hormone therapy. Despite this daunting journey, Leah remains a warrior, determined to live life fully and move forward with hope.

Asking for help is never easy, but we’ve learned that community is everything. We have no expectations—your strength, love, and prayers are more powerful than we can express. Any financial support will go directly toward medical expenses, travel costs, medications, and the isolation period required for her treatment. We also want to give everyone the chance to serve, just as we would for any loved one facing a similar battle.
