Five Latvian children currently living in an orphanage need a permanent family to love them and cherish them. We hosted three of the five for five weeks this Summer and want to make them all members of our family together with our four biological children. These are children ages 5, 6, 8, 10 and 12; three girls and two boys. They have beautiful spirits and are delightful to be with. We plan to host them again this Winter through Project 143, and the time until then cannot pass quickly enough. Won't you help us give these children an opportunity for a loving Christian home? We are told that orphans age out of the system at age 16 in Latvia and that 80% of them will ultimately succumb to homelessness, drug addiction, suicide and prostitution. We will not let that happen to these five wonderful kids. Any size contribution will make a difference. Since there are no "package deals" in international adoption we have been told that costs could rise as high a $100,000 or more. We are trying to raise half of that through our campaign and will raise the remainder by personal means. Please help today and may God bless you richly for "caring for widows and orphans in their distress."
