On May 16, 2025 my sister, Amanda, her husband Brandon and their two girls (10 y/o and 9 y/o) were out celebrating her birthday when their house was struck by lightning, catching on fire. Their house was engulfed in flames and they lost everything, including the their two furbabies, Reese (7 y/o chocolate lab) and Midge (16.5 y/o Chihuahua/pom mix).
