Oh my goodness! We're down to the wire! My last payment is due on April 24, and I won't lie, I'm a bit frantic about it! I've put in lots of extra hours for work (I work from home). I am trying to sell some unused items around the house as well. I'm honestly doing everything I possibly can to make this final payment and be prepared for the mission trip and the experience of Israel. Please continue to pray for Israel and for their election tomorrow (April 9). Pray for me to have a calm spirit and not worry about the money aspect of this and prayers for a safe trip during Ramadan to this Holiest of Holy lands. I promise to share so many pictures and make some videos. I'm truly going to lug around my Nikon 750 for this trip so that I can get the best of pictures to share. I want you to feel like you are there with me each step of the way. I can't thank those who have already donated enough for your generosity in making this happen. I struggle with ever asking anyone for help, but I feel so deeply that this trip will be a life changing experience. I get emotional just thinking about walking where Jesus walked. If you have a special prayer request, please let me know. If there is a souvenir that is within my power to bring you, let me know. Thank you all for your donations. No matter how small, it has truly been a blessing both monetarily and spiritually. #Israel #Peace #HeIsRisen
We are down to the last days of the time for me to raise funds for this education church trip as well as mission trip. Only one payment remains now of $1,050 on April 24th. I feel so close, yet still so far away. I know that this trip will be life changing in so many ways and cannot wait to set foot on Israeli soil. To visit the Garden of Gethsemane, view the Armageddon Battlefield and so many other amazing holy places. I'm not gonna sugar coat this. It's been hard pulling all this together in such a short time to make this trip. The last $1,000 may be the hardest yet. I promise to deliver your prayer to the Temple Mount, bring sand from the Sea of Galilee and share dozens and dozens of first person photographs with you of this beautiful country of God's people. Any donation, no matter how small is so greatly appreciated and I will be forever grateful that you helped make this journey a reality.
I've made my first two payments on the trip to Israel so far, for a total of $1,600. I have one payment of $1,100 and a final one of $1,059 remaining due by April 29. I rare ask for much in life as I've always been fiercely independent. I really want this trip to be part of my spiritual journey with God and personal growth. There is also a mission trip involved as well within this and I'll be happy tos hare pictures and some short films (a hobby of mine). Any amount helps, no matter how small and you'll be appreciated more than you can ever know. Dreams can't come true if you don't reach for them.
