King Jesus Charity Home is home to nearly 80 children, ranging in age from infancy to early twenties located in Kumasi, Ghana West Africa. My husband and I became familiar with the orphanage nearly 20 years ago when our son was a missionary in that part of Africa. In late 2024 one of the large housing buildings in the complex had to be razed because the structure was unstable. The donations from this campaign will go into the continued construction of a new building in the same location. Reaching and Impacting Nations, a 501(c)3 non-profit I am the executive director for, has already been privileged to fund much of the first floor construction through gifts from generous donors. Additional funds are needed to begin the second level and complete the first level. Upon completion this building, at the center of the complex, will house the upper teens and young adults living at KJCH. Besides lodging there will be socializing spaces to help facilitate community. There will also be studying spaces to help the students keep and maintain good grades.
