A message from Joyce Jackson: "So many of you have been such a blessing to our family and have followed us as we have done some really incredible moves from different states with our super sized family. We have met some of the most amazing families and people in the world. We have learned so much by living and exploring different areas along the East Coast.
Jerome Jackson and I have come to a difficult decision after a long and difficult couple of years. When My mom fell ill in 2015 and I became her Primary Care Giver and Jerome’s mom, brother and sister all died at the end of 2016 and beginning of 2017 there is one thing that we solidified time and time again.......Family is everything.
The last several months have been really tough on us. Pretty much since hurricane Irma. My responsibilities for 14 children, my mom, our home and vehicles have been a lot on me. I didn’t really want to ask for help because my pride was rearing its ugly head. But now our only source of transportation, our bus has sustained some major damage and needs extensive repairs. We have not travelled as a family since Irma.
We also decided to move back up North to Pennsylvania to be closer to my family and Jerome’s brother. Being closer to family will allow us to lean on each other more.
So many have you have blessed our family with gifts and love and prayers over the last few years. We could NEVER thank you enough for that love and support. But this year during this season of true love, we are asking those who are willing and able to please PRAY FOR US and that if you are wanting to bless us and help support us in this huge shift in our family’s life to do so by sponsoring us so we may have enough money for our down payment of our new home and to also be able to get our bus fixed properly. It will be so nice to ride as a family again.
We will never be able to thank you all enough for your kindness toward us. Through every situation, good or bad, happy or sad... we have always had so many people praying for us. May that never stop.
Praising God in all things at all times!"
