UPDATE April 4th. It has been a week since the accident. Mikal is still in ICU, and her Mom has not left her side this whole time. She is still  struggling with pain and nausea. Please pray that God would grant her healing, and that Yetaysh would feel God’s presence and that he would give her peace.

Our dear friend, 11-year-old Mikal, was involved in a devastating head-on car crash early Saturday morning, March 28. She is currently in the ICU in Hamilton, having sustained multiple internal injuries as well as a fractured tibia.

Mikal has already undergone major surgery and is doing well, for which we are deeply grateful. However, her recovery will be long, and she will require several months of care at home. Her mother, a single parent, will need to take extended time off work to care for her—time that may place her job at risk.

If you are able, we are asking for financial support to help ease the burden on her mother during this difficult season. Any contribution, no matter the size, would be a meaningful help.

We thank God for sparing Mikal’s life and would deeply value your prayers for her continued healing. Further surgery will be required in the months ahead.
