I just graduated from a Dicipleship Training School (DTS) with YWAM. I feel I have grown so much over the last 5 months. I was brought out of my comfort zone, and I discovered more of what it looks like to have my identity in Jesus. I was able to take this knowlege and put it into practice while on outeach. I was in Nepal for a month and it was my first experiance in a third world country. Although it is one of the poorest nations in the world, the people were so generous and kind. Our time in Nepal was not easy, but I would not trade it for the world. We went to encourage, but I think we came away encouraged as well. Not only are there Christians in Nepal, but they are also on fire for God and passionate for their country to be set free. We also spent two weeks on outreach to Texas and New Mexico. We served local churches and had many wonderful conversations with college students at Texas Tech. Some of our best opportunities came after a militant Christian ministry came on the campus, yelling and condemning the students. We were able to share that God is a God of LOVE!
I am now excited to announce that I'm going back to Tyler, Texas for the School of Evangelism (SOE) in January! This school will continue and expand on what happened in DTS. We willl learn about how to minister to different types of people and how to find God's calling on our lives. We will learn about other religions and world views and go deeper into understanding our Biblical world view.
I am trusting that God will provide all the funding I will need in the next month and a half before the start of SOE. Please pray about partnering with me!
