Thank you and God bless you abundantly for your support of orphaned children in Uganda.
James 1:27 Tells us, “ Pure religion and undefiled before our God and Father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affection, and keep oneself unspotted from the world.“
We believe that in giving toward the needs of orphans, we are setting our heart toward God’s heart.
This update is a little slow in coming, but thanks to several gifts that generous supporters gave during our Fall Pancake Breakfeast, we were able to send half of the rent to Guardians Care Orphanage! $750. In a frustrating turn, the landlord raised the rent to $1800. Our board voted to use $150 of our reserve funds to make up some of the difference for the new rent amount.
Thank you so much for your continued love and support of children who have no mother or father to provide for their needs. God is always at work caring for His children through His Church, and it is an honor and our joy to serve Him with you!
Friends from Marysville and Everett, Washington area joined us for our Fall Pancake Breakfeast on Saturday, September 21st. We loved connecting with people who love supporting orphaned and other vulnerable children in Uganda. During the breakfast we had some great praise and worship music from Jonathan Swartz and Deland Wilson - aka Jazz Digga, and raffled off several items - notably a beautiful painting by Gabriele McGadden.
Proceeds from the breakfeast brought our total raised for Guardians Care Orphanage rent to $750! We are so grateful for your generosity! We have a promise keeping God who helps us in time of trouble when we give to the poor (Ps. 41:1).
