Hey, everyone! I am excited for this update because it’s a darn good one!
Judah had an MRI this past Tuesday to assess the tumor’s response to the chemo. There was no tumor to be found!! This is incredible, amazing news! This means that Judah will now only have to have chemo every three weeks, as opposed to every week. Also, he is also no longer required to take Prednisone (an oral steroid), which Rachel says has done wonders to improve his mood. Things are looking up!
Rachel and John continue to ask me to pass along their gratitude for the massive amount of support they have felt from each and every one of you! If you can, please take a minute to share this update so we can continue to raise money to offset Judah’s medical expenses. Also, please continue to lift them up in your prayers because we have a mighty God who will surely answer them! ❤️
Hello, everyone! On behalf of the Widricks, I wanted to take a minute to thank all of you have supported them through this difficult journey, financially or otherwise. They have definitely felt the love and prayers!
Judah continues to go Syracuse every week for chemotherapy treatments. The good news is that the tumor has shrunk significantly. However, Rachel says that it is still visible in Judah’s eye and that these treatments seem to be taking a lot out of the poor boy. He continues to not sleep hardly at all through the nights and that makes for exhausted parents. In a few weeks, Judah will have additional scans done, which will determine the appropriate course of action going forward.
Please continue to lift this family up! Also, please, please share this link so that we can continue to raise money and support for them. Thank you again, everyone!
