hi. things progressing right on along. after prayer I felt like the Spirit was saying to me to make the target date for your return 1 Dec 2019. because I am believing to raise a pretty good amount it was suggested to me to have patience and allow Him time to do whatever it is that needs to get done. to raise sufficient funds, time would be needed for groups, churches and friends to do whatever God showed them to do that would allow the funds to flow in, that will start the wheels rolling to raise the funds to get me back home to the U.S. I also know, because I've seen it over the years, many times... that when the need was there, God would supply according to His riches and Glory. God will never let His children down when they fully trust Him. God will make a way. So, I'm here. I'm in trust mode. This whole thing, the way it is happening and from the position of where I stand... it is just amazing to see God's hands at work. I'm thankful, yeah very thankful... and I'm going home. Can I believe it!! I sure can.
Hello. My name is Vaughn P Gorton. I am a 73 year old retiring christian pastor/missionary who has been on the mission field in Haiti and the Dominican Republic for 25 years. I've finished the work that God had called me to in the Caribbean. I am alone here now... and I'd like to move back to the states to be nearer my daughters and family. I'd need your help in order to do so.
I presently live on social security which is sufficient here for my monthly living. I have little savings and social security is my only income. I have the support of a small church group in northern Georgia that will be helping me to relocate. I don't have sufficient funds coming in monthly to move my personal things back to the states or enough to help me rent a small apartment, or even finances for utilities. I'm believing for the help that would give me the ability to live closer to family. My children will do what they are able to do, but are they are also busy raising their own families and grandchildren so I turn to you and ask, can you help me to get home
