To my lovely friends and family. I am so grateful to have completed my Bachelor's Degree in Linguistics. Thank you to everyone who has supported me through that long journey. As I prepare for the next chapter in my life I have decided to refocus on areas of my life that were neglected, while pursuing my degree. Last February I went on a Mission trip to the Dominican Republic near the Haitian border. We built a house for a family of a single mother. It was a beautiful and life changing experience.
Many students decide to go on graduation trips after completing their degree. I want to go to my happy place, which is serving the needy! God has blessed me with multiple summer jobs in order for me to work to support this trip. However I would also like to ask for your help. Whatever you feel led to give. I do not want any gifts this year, except this gift of being able to give hope and love to people. I am specializing in the Justice and Mercy stream, in which I would be working with the poor, or refugees.
YWAM North Cascades is passionate about seeing the unreached, those who have never had the opportunity to hear about Jesus, come to know Him and experience His love. The outreach locations are decided during the first few weeks of DTS. Each team will likely go to a different location and have different emphases of ministry such as evangelism, children's ministry, or work with the poor or refugees. YWAM North Cascades has a heart for outreach locations in Southeast Asia and Africa.
