Tuesday of this week Lori had another doctor's appointment to hear the results from her CT scan last week. The doctor said Lori can return to work part-time. At this time it's unsure what part-time will look like for Lori since this is unchartered territory. It could be 1 half day, 2 half days, 3 full days, or just a couple hours a week! There's really no way to tell about how well she will tolerate the commute and whether she will have the strength and stamina to work 2 or 3 days a week. Of course, anyone that knows Lori knows she is chomping at the bit to get back to work! That's just her nature! The one drawback that messes things up is the frequent headaches that Lori still suffers from, although they are getting less frequent, when she has one it's not a carryon as usual kind of day but a rest and nap until it's gone kind of day since she is still recovering and will be for many more months.
Thank you everyone for all your prayers, thoughts, calls and texts! Thank you for sharing her story and for continuing to pray for her complete recovery both physically and financially. We appreciate your donations both monetary and time taken out of your busy day to pray for Lori. It means the world to us.
It has been 43 days since my sister-in-law Lori King had three traumatic brain events all in one day. Please read my original post for all the details. The miracle is Lori is still recovering although with frequent headaches and low stamina and continues to be unable to work. We are in awe of the miracle that happened in the early morning hours on January 8th! We give all the glory to God our Savior and King! Please continue to pray for a complete recovery and also a return for her financial stability. Our further prayer is that Lori's story will be spread far and wide to proclaim the glory of God and His grace and mercy. Thank you all so much for your prayers they are deeply appreciated!
