Giving back is a cornerstone of my life.  I am currently a senior and student-athlete at Clayton State University.  I have been learning many valuable life lessons along the way and I acknowledge how truly blessed I am.  I regularly participate in many local volunteer opportunities and now I am ready to take the next big step and make those same applications abroad.  I submitted an application with Service Matters (a civil engagement group that enables students in the Greater Atlanta area to get involved in service trips), and was accepted!!! This opportunity drew me in when I listened to testimonies shared about the simple connections previous participants made with the children by sitting and interacting with them.

This year they've partnered with Atl4Haiti to give students an opportunity to participate in a cultural immersion trip to Carries, Ouest, Haiti.  During the visit planned over 2019 Spring Break, we intend to serve at Children of Grace Orphanage, Grandma's House Outreach (Elderly care), and a Soup Kitchen.

The trip is set for March 3rd - 7th, 2019. I've been able to pay up until this point but due to unexpected events, my funds are being put towards an emergent situation. I will be sincerely appreciative to any amount you are able to donate and it will definitely go towards a great cause! Thank you in advance for the consideration and I pray you are able to help me.
