Bellamy Gamboa is a mother of 4 here in Virginia Beach. She was last seen on the night of July 1, 2018 at her Diamond Springs apartment off of Shore Dr. She allegedly left the apartment she and her exbf shared after an argument between the two. He claimed he does not know when she left or where she went. She did not show up for work the next day nor was anyone able to reach her. Since this was so unlike her, Kyle contacted the Virginia Beach Policy and filed a Missing Persons report on July 2, 2018. Her car was found on July 3, 2018 abandoned next to a dumpster in the Lake Edward area of VB, which is just 4 miles down the road from her apartment. A Critically Missing Adult Alert (Ashanti Alert) was issued by Virginia State Police on July 5, 2018.
Four weeks after Bellamy was last seen, an arrest was made. Her exbf and father of her twins was arrested on misdemeanor charges and shortly after, was charged with 2nd degree murder. This man confessed to police how he took Bellamy’s life away not only from us, but away from her 4 beautiful kids. What hurts more is that we have to understand and accept that search teams have done everything they can, but the body of Bellamy cannot be recovered. We know that she will forever be with us in spirit and our hearts.
The lives of her four children will never be the same. Cianna is 16 years old and a junior in hgh school and Daniel is 15 and a sophmore in high school. The twins are 2 years old being cared for by both their grandparents with both of us taking care of them when needed.
Our God is to raise money that can be set aside for them, to help with any medical, school and personal needs. A 529 has been set up our daughter and money will be put into that account for both Cianna and Daniel. TWe would like to see that they have this opportunity and piece of mind not having to worry how they will be able to afford. They are AMAZING children and truly a blessing.
Bellamy's would have wanted to see them both graduate and go off to college. She loved them al more than her own life....
Even the smallest acts of kindness means the world to us.
