Every child should be filled with Hope.
Unfortunately, there are children whose hope is limited to making it through another day without hunger or pain.
Our names are Pat and Yesenia. God directed our paths to cross so we could use our passion for Him and for children to make little lives better in Guatemala.
We work directly with almost 500 underprivileged children living in neighborhoods where fear, hunger, and poverty reign.
Some of our work provides directly to their needs. We run feeding programs and distribute items like shoes, rain boots, blankets, and health items, for example, during special events.
More importantly, we help these disadvantaged children prepare to break their poverty cycles through education assistance, counseling, and the hope provided through Jesus Christ.
Regular Bible-based studies about Jesus' life and His plans for them, as well as social, health, and developmental topics are the gist of our work.
Providing adult and Christian examples and relationships for the children and their families is instrumental in improving their outlook and hopes for a fulfilling life in Guatemala.
We added a thriving women's ministry, which grew out of informal street conversations. Attendance at all three churches in the communities is up. We also built vegetable gardens. We regularly pray with and provide assistance to families in crisis.
But, we are falling short of the modest amount of funds needed to live simply near our mission. Our regular presence in these kids lives is vital to its continued growth and success.
Can you please help us out?
No amount is too small. (No amount is too big, either!) We are praying hard on this, even while we are confident God will provide and let us continue our work without interruption.

God is Love. God is Hope. So we spread the Word.
