Pattie Slater is no stranger to trusting God during life's most challenging hardships. She has suffered with diabetes for 30 years. Only 4 years ago she suddenly lost her beloved husband of 33 years. He was a man of great faith-a pastor their entire marriage.
In March 2018, Pattie was on her lunch break and while driving she had a blood sugar drop. She went unconscious and nearly lost her life in a car accident.
Her car rolled, ejecting her out of the driver's window. She suffered a broken back, four broken ribs, a punctured lung and other serious injuries. After being life flighted and receiving emergency surgery, Pattie's vertebrae were crushed leaving her lower body completely paralyzed. She was in ICU 20 days. Since her discharge, she has been hospitalized numerous times due to complications and infections.
As a diabetic, widowed, paralyzed and now unable to work, she very much needs your financial help.
Pattie has lost nearly everything including her independence. She lives with her daughter and son-in-law, in which they assist with all her daily caregiving needs.
She has worked for Wal-Mart for 17 years and enjoyed being active in her weekly church attendance and related activities.
She also enjoyed visiting friends, family and especially her grandchildren. Now, she’s largely home-bound.
Pattie dreams of regaining some independence and the only way this will happen is through your love and generous gifts.
She is in great need of a handicap equipped vehicle, plus major bathroom modifications are needed in the home. Currently she has no access to a restroom or shower.
By your loving support, Pattie's dream of regaining her quality of life again can become a reality.
May God bless each of you for your thoughts, prayers and any gift amount you feel led to give.

"For whom have I in heaven but Thee and besides Thee there is none on earth whom I desire. God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever."
