Susan Briggs is a mother of 5, 4 boys and one daughter. We have had the difficult news that she has Stage 4 Glioplastoma (the most aggressive brain cancer). It came suddenly,  she was fine and doing life and then suddenly she was laying in bed and saw like a black blob in her "vision" (she says in her brain), and then it went away. Within a week of this ocurrence she started noticing that her speech was not doing right. She was having trouble speaking sometimes. This progressed quite quickly, as we awaited doctors wanting to see how quickly it would change. When they saw the tumor in her brain they said it was small and shouldn't worry right then, but only a month from that and we are told there is nothing they can do. Our mother is 75 years old and has other health issues that would not allow her to make it through any chemo and as a family we decided not to torture her with such treatment only to maybe get 6 months to her life. Without treatment we are told maybe 3 or 4 months, but we know God is the only one who knows our day or number here on earth. 

We are in need of help with funds for her medical bills and for any necessities needed for her. This has come as a surprise to our family and quite quickly, and though we have faith in Jesus Christ our Savior, we simply are not ready to just give up and let her go. We know that if this does not work, then it was simply her time and Jesus needs her home, but we have hope right now and the drive to fight however we can.
