Hello beautiful people, please pray for me and my children. My husband has used the legal system, with the help of his parents, to set himself up to take my children away from me. My husband and I have struggled very much in our relationship/marriage due to various issues, but mainly his combat PTSD, childhood trauma and alcoholism. We were moving in the direction of healing when I was 4 months post partum with our second child. His parents came up to help us through this rough patch of adjustment. Long, LONG story short, I was served a domestic violence restraining order under false pretenses, am now facing a divorce and haven't seen my children essentially for 3 months. In the divorce he is asking for custody of our 2 children, alimony, child support, all of our assets and property and is claiming "extreme cruelty" as the reason for divorce. Since there is a restraining order in place for a year, if he gets what he wants (and his parents have money and got him an excellent lawyer), I could effectively not ever see my kids again. I was a stay at home mom, and I literally have NO way of paying for a lawyer to fight the battle of my life. Your amazing gifts will be used to fund my legal fees.
