My name is Matthew Goodwin. I am a student at The Baptist College of Florida. I am going to school to be a Pastor. I believe God has called me to be a Pastor. He has given me a burden for the church. Also for the people that cannot hear about Jesus. We are called to Make disciples to all nations. Statistics prove that Christians will not share their faith throught their lives to anyone. However, we are called to go across the street, the neighborhoods, to different towns, states and countries all to further the Gospel.
I also believe God has revealed to me through prayer that I need to take a leap of faith in this mission trip. There are several other oppurtunities, but God told me this is where I need you to go on. We will be working among the Maasai through the Maasai Evangelistic Association. Our primary activity will be intensive gospel sharing in the villages and schools in the remote areas of Maasailand. We may have opportunity to visit and share in a local Bible Institute and perhaps a home for displaced teenagers.
I am asking first and foremost that you pray for me, my teammates, and the people we are going to minister too.
However, if you would like to donate to the cause of furthering the Gospel then please feel free to donate here. or you could send me a check made out The Baptist College of Florida to my address here on campus.

The theme verses for this mission trip is this
Isaiah 52:7 How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, "Your God reigns!"
Romans 10:14-15 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!"
How will they hear if no one will share?
Thank you for your time reading this. God bless you!
