Higby Adoption Update
October 25, 2023
Dear Friends,
Don and I are making our way through the adoption process! In the past several months, we have completed our homestudy, and made our profile books for potential birth parents to get to know us. We have applied to 2 adoption agencies so far. We hope to apply to 1-2 more agencies.
We are currently in the process of waiting for "a match" with the agencies that we already applied to, and also applying to new agencies. The more agencies we apply to, the better odds of making our dreams come true in a shorter timeframe. This "waiting to be matched" step can take months to years.
You all continue to be in our prayers. If you could please keep us in your prayers, for our intention of adopting a healthy baby soon, we would be yet more grateful!
