My name is Max Bonilla and I am a young 17 year old Conservative political activist from the great state of California. I’m disillusioned about the way California is being run, and I don’t believe that Newsom or our legislators have the people's best interest. I also don’t believe California is a lost cause, so I’m stepping in to change California for my generation. So, I’ve been tracking bills and going to the capitol on a regular basis to reject the bills and the deceit in them. I’ve even been tracking what my Board of Supervisors has been doing for the last several months.
Recently, I even played a big part in killing SB 866, which would’ve had detrimental impacts on children. I made parents aware that their rights were being stolen from them because the legislature was trying to allow children 15 and older to consent to vs by themselves. Just last week, the author pulled the bill.
Right now, I’m even making videos on Facebook to inform people about the hearings and bills being heard in advance, and letting them know what dates are important. I believe that the spirit is being kept alive by very few people in California and I am one of them.
I’ve been doing this for about two years now and plan to hold some form of political office one day. If you think you’re too small to make a difference, you’ve never been in bed with a mosquito.
