This year I have to prepare a classroom that was left in dire need of attention. Our school supplies the basics, but anything extra comes from the teacher's pocket. I don't mind, but I really don't make that much.
I am a preschool teacher in the 5th poorest state, in the United States. According to the national standard we live way below poverty level in Gadsden, Alabama.
I love where I work, because I love teaching ! It's such a thrill when a student uses what you taught them, but to accomplish that I need to create a learning friendly environment. The room I have is missing manipulatives, furnishings, and basic needs. Please, help me be that one that makes a difference.
