My friend is an intelligent, funny, kind, inspiring girl who has worked her way into a Biomedical Engineering program at a prestigious university. Her father was hardly ever in the picture and recently died due to his alcoholism, and her mother lost her job during the pandemic, and has been struggling to make ends meet ever since. This girl works incredibly hard with dreams of becoming a doctor, but struggles to keep up financially.
She receives a large amount of financial aid, but it isn't enough to comfortably get through school with the need of buying books and supplies, or luxuries like a nice computer and iPad like most of her peers have which facilitate notetaking and homework. I'm asking if you would afford her some help, as neither her or her mother will ask, and it would mean so much to me to see this family catch a breath of relief in their time of need. Thank you.
