Family, friends and co-laborers in Jesus Christ. Our dear Alan Curtis is headed home to see Jesus tonight. He’ll soon be among the saints, other loved ones gone ahead, indescribable colors, scents and sounds in the wondrous place he taught us often about at Home Fellowship or the Pulpit - Heaven. I’m certain Alan will be asked to sing “Come To Me” or “New Jerusalem” as it pleases the Lord.
Please Let’s unburden Eva, CeCe and James by the Extreme Expenses associated with the medical and funeral costs they are facing in the coming days/weeks.
At the time of this post Alan is receiving final calls of love, prayers and “see ya soons”. I wanted to give them the blessing of knowing we are stepping out in faith that through us and other ways, God will meet and exceed all needed expenses. More to come... Debbie (Toth) Rollins
At 9:30pm EST 3/23/22 Eva sent a text:
Alan is in Heaven with the King of Glory!!!!
**All funds will go directly to James Curtis and the account transferred to him when they have a few days to catch their breath. No funds will be withdrawn from Givesendgo until then. Debbie Toth Rollins 🥰🌴
UPDATES
A thank you from Cece, Eva, James, and the grandkids May 2, 2022
This is James writing. I wrote a little update, but a server bug ate it so I have to write again, so I'll be more brief this time.
On behalf of the entire family, thank you so much for the prayers and support the past 1+ month. To those of you who were even crazy enough to donate (especially in this weird economoy), we are touched by your generosity. We thank Debbie for setting this up and spending her time running this GSG for us.
My dad probably worried about us a bit too much even in his last days, so I know the added support is just God's way of, as he does to all of us over and over, reaffirming that He will provide.
I apologize that I haven't had time to touch base on here. I intend on closing this campaign this week, so we thank you again. Obviously feel free to share one more time, if you feel led, but for the most part, the hairy administrative side of this process is taken care of and we are ever grateful.
The online memorial to share any memories or testimony of his life + collect all his songs, videos, etc. in one place is still coming at some point. For now, I still need to properly eulogize my father. In the meantime, I uncovered this sort-of-unreleased cover of an old hymn he recorded (he uploaded it to Facebook shortly before he nuked his account). It's crazy because as soon as I found it, I knew he had done a better job eulogizing himself than I ever could. I put the Rumble and YouTube links to the little edit I did of it.
May it touch your day.
With love and gratitude,
James Curtis - on behalf of CeCe, Eva, Anna, Ben, Jaco, Leah, and the soon arriving grandbaby #4

Update #6 Pt 1- Last phone call March 27, 2022
This song COME TO ME that Alan Curtis wrote and sang nearly every Saturday night at Church was an alter call song of the heart. For 6-8 weeks at the tender age of 24-25 I walked that isle EVERYTIME he played it knowing I needed more of God- less of me (and a whole lotta forgiveness 😉 and cleansing). It was “lost” in his studio attic in TN and my cassette was long gone decades later.
Earlier- my last call with Alan was 5 hrs earlier to finding this song online- him listening while I poured my heart for the 3rd time since learning of his illness- with gratitude to let him know THAT song- Come To Me, his music in general then later his teaching as my Home Fellowship Leader was foundational in my 32+ yr solid walk with the Lord. His friendship unswerving no matter where in the world I was or how much time between calls. I left nothing unsaid this very last call. I loved my friend.
I asked with his entire family present- “Alan - I have no real right to ask, but can you somehow find a way to let me know when in you’re in Heaven “ALL IS WELL” and I’ll keep my soul open to whatever that might be? I mean, if you can. If it’s even possible?” I finished my call and said “I love you brother! See you SOON!” He stepped into glory 90 min or less later. About 8:30pm my time.

Update #7 Pt 2 Message from Heaven March 27, 2022
So at 3:00am I’m closing my apps and I see a text from an 80 yr old friend who found a note in her mother’s Bible from 1822. Here’s what her text said:
This special note was in my mother’s bible so many years ago and I quote. \"All that the Father gives Me will COME TO ME, and the one who COMES TO ME I will BY NO MEANS CAST OUT. John 6:37
(These are lyrics in Alan’s song COME TO ME!!!- the words of the 1822 note are the Essence and some verbatim phrases and verses in Alan’s song!!!!Listen below)
The note continues-
\"You would give yourself to God just as you are now, with your fighting\'s and fear, hates and loves, pride and shame.\"
THIS WAS ALAN TELLING ME FROM A NOTE FROM FROM 1822 in a Bible on a post I happened to see 30 min AFTER I found his COME TO ME RE-Recored song he posted just 3 mos ago!!! 😭😭🙌🏻🙌🏻😇😂😂😂😂😂😂. Thank you friend! I received your message LOUD AND CLEAR AND MY HEART IS FULL OF JOY FOR YOU.
I mourn with the James Curtis Cece Curtis Lee Eva curtis &Family. But joy will be restored in time. 🥰 My 80 yr old friend posted on her page- “Praise God in Heaven and COME TO ME ALAN CURTIS!” With his song link.

Update #6 Alan’s Musical Genius March 24, 2022
Here’s the link to some of the “stock” music Alan made that gets picked up around the globe for film, TV, Radio, Video games, Presentations for Corp Media et. al.
I honestly never understood quite clearly. Wished he’d just showed me this site!! Lol. He was far to humble and it was just a part of him he didn’t overly emphasize.
Curiosly- his “Spaghetti Western” tunes were extremely popular and he did quite well selling those.
Take a moment to read his Bio to understand what kept his creative genius going through the wee hours of the morning- typical creative works best in the quiet of the night! He even won awards in 2012!!! Another quiet kept secret of humility. Alan was music. It was in him and had to make its way out.
We that experienced Alan B Curtis live each week with guitar and sincerity in hand are truly blessed for it. He passed his musical gifts down to his Daughter CeCe who’s featured on many of his songs and his Grandaughter Anna. Both sweet songbirds. Time will tell what his grandson’s talent in music will hold. (Can James play too??🤔🤔).
Here’s a rare side of our friend he didn’t share or boast about often. He just was - music!
Read the message in the drop down on Alan’s YouTube site with this song. God sure did give him many 🌈 and crystal clear waters and all of Hawaiian beauty to behold these last 10-13 years! I’m so grateful I was able to visit him and Eva and see their slice of paradise. It suites them and so well deserved after a lifetime of service to the Lord.
Update #2 James’ fav pic on Alan’s old FB link March 24, 2022
