As you are all aware, my father, Mark Hamp is battling COVID Pneumonia...

He was admitted into the hospital on December 30, 2021. Day by day, my dad progressively declined. On the early morning of Saturday, January 8,2022 at approximately 12:30 A.M. my daddy was placed on a ventilator and placed in the ICU.

No one knew he would get this bad and have this long hospital stay. So on top of worrying about my daddy’s health 24/7 and figuring out ways that I can help him fight this battle, I took FULL RESPONSIBILITY and reassured him I would take care of everything outside that hospital, that all he needed to worry about was getting better and coming home.

I’ve filled out all his FMLA paperwork from his job and started the process of getting him his short term disability started, but his Short term disability can take 4~6 weeks to complete the process because I have to get all his hospital records released and etc.  Needless to say, the money my daddy has in in bank account won’t last long without any income coming in. And even when he does get his short term disability, it will only be 50% of his average weekly wage.

And because this happened so suddenly with my dad, he never had a chance to assign me his POA of finances, he was only able to sign the first POA which was the medical POA before he quickly declined. so it’s very difficult to talk to his bank, and company’s my dad owes bills too. Because I’m not authorized. So I’m struggling, worrying myself sick, trying to figure out how I’m going to maintain all his bills and keep them current.

So, I made this page to see if anyone would be willing to donate any money to help me, help my daddy pay and keep his bills current while he is in the hospital fighting for his life. Even if it’s a dollar, anything helps. I literally have ran out of all other options... and if you can’t, that’s okay. All I ask is if you still continue to pray for my daddy so he can come home...

I just want my daddy home 😭😭😭😭

Daddy I’m fighting, I’m fighting everyday for you. And I’ll do WHATEVER I have to do to keep my promise.
