Hi, I'm from Louisiana, we are known for low ground level and flooding here.
On May 17th my area was under a flash flood warning, it was 11:30 at night, I was on my way home from work and I ran into some water, my cat stalled and before I knew there was water coming inside my car and in no time it was over my lap.
I filed a insurance claim but unfortunately I'm not covered for flooding.
Also unfortunately, water got into the engine and hydro locked the engine and is unrepairable.
I deliver food for a living, so not only was it my only means of transportation but also my livelihood.
I live pay check to pay check and can't afford another vehicle.
a friend of mine told me about this site and said I probably could get some help, I hope she is right.
If anyone could find it in their hearts to help, I would be so grateful!!
