Fast forward to today, and you can find us squeezing around our dining table during meals—a sweet kind of chaos that makes life feel full but crowded. The heater sputters like a bad stand-up comedian on cold winter nights, the plumbing decides when it feels like cooperating (and no one told it about school schedules), and the breaker pops with alarming frequency whenever we dare to use two power-hungry appliances simultaneously!

We’re at a crossroads. Do we stay in this little box of ours with rent high enough we can't save extra for a home of our own, or do we dream bigger?
