Thank you for considering partnering with Flagstaff Church Plant. We are moving to Flagstaff, Arizona in July. However, we are struggling with finding a house that we can afford. Flagstaff's housing market is the most expensive in the state and trumps most of the major metropolitan regions in the west. We tried to close on a house recently but were unsuccessful due to a $5,000 indifference. Therefore, we are asking for your help. Would you consider partnering with us this one time?
Frequently asked questions:
Why don't you just rent? There are multiple reasons for this. #1: Flagstaff (according to local lawyers) is in the top five of the hardest cities in America to build a church building. The local government will do anything to prevent churches from coming to Flagstaff. #2: For the problem mentioned above, we will be starting a church in home. Therefore, we must have a home suitable to make that happen. A home I found for rent that could meet our needs costs $2,400 a month without utilities. The cheapest rent I found was $2,100 without utilities. We do not feel like this is a good use of God's money. Buying will allow us stability, the right size facility, and a housing cost that we can manage. #3: In-home church could cause a problem with the landlords according to local sources.
Please don't underestimate the power of a dollar. When we all come together for the cause of Christ, magnificent things happen. Thank you and God bless!
