Around 10 am on Tuesday, March 31st, our dear friends in Las Animas, Colorado got the call everyone fears: "Your house is on fire." Having overcome so much trauma and heartache the last 3 years (another devastating fire that destroyed their family business, and the tragic death of his older brother,) this young couple and their 6 year old son just lost their home and everything in it, including their 3 precious dogs. Unfortunately, there was no insurance on the home, and they are leaning heavily on their savings. They are proud, hardworking, and self-sufficient ranchers. They are blessed enough to have a large RV to stay in on their property so they can tend to their horses and cattle, and the community is rallying to make sure they have supplies and meals. The question everyone is asking is "How can we send them money?" Every cent counts and they appreciate any and all help they receive, and they would never ask, so I'm asking for them.
