On Sunday, May 2 Laetitia and her 7 children were involved in a fatal car accident. Tragically, two of the children did not survive the accident while the other 5 and Laetitia were rushed to the hospital. As of today the 6 of them are still in the hospital but are recovering well.
Pastor Joe and Pastor Angela have been able to be by their sides offering support, prayer, and help navigating everything this week. They are standing in the gap as the family support as Jonathan and Laetitia are fluent in French and do not speak English.
Two years ago Jonathan and Laetitia moved with their seven children to the United States. Jonathan had a great job until the Covid Lockdowns which caused him to lose his job. Having moved from The Congo, Jonathan and Leatitia only speak French and have struggled to find work.
This family has suffered much hardship throughout this past year and are now finding themselves in the midst of the unthinkable. After being forced to evacuate their residence a few months ago due to a fire.
When Pastor Joe asked Jonathan how we could best serve his family, Jonathan said his number one request was prayer!
First and foremost, we want to ask that you commit to covering the Bomolo Family in prayer during this incredibly difficult time.
Secondly, there are a lot of expenses that they will be facing. They will have all of their medical bills: emergency care, hospital stays, follow up visits, etc. The funeral expenses for the 2 children. They are also going to need a new vehicle and car seats, as well as some help with everyday expenses.
Any donation to help the Bomolo's will be greatly appreciated. Thank you, in advance, for your support of this family who is so dear and precious!
