Just steps away from its peaceful shores stands a plot of land purchased by the Butts County Development Authority... land zoned for industrial use.  UPDATE: March 31, 2026 - Hillwood Development has now purchased the property and has begun surveying to remove trees.

Prior to this Butts County project, they have already installed multiple industrial and commercial developments that have already spilled into our drinking watershed.... and it is not just Butts County.  It is Henry, Butts, Lamar, and Monroe Counties destroying our drinking water.  All of this water eventually pours into the Atlantic Ocean.

High Falls Lake is being used as a septic tank.... gathering all of the politicians industrial and commercial toxic waste!

These decisions are not just about losing natural beauty; it’s about safeguarding our drinking water, preserving wildlife habitats, and maintaining the serene backdrop that makes Georgia so special to us all.

Georgia was a place where generations have gathered to enjoy nature without the looming presence of towering warehouses, data centers, truck stops... that pour toxic forever chemicals into our drinking water.

 Join us in this fight by donating because your voice matters just as much as any politician’s vote when it comes to safeguarding our drinking water.  They have lawyers, they have banks, they have judges.... we need representation too!
